Denia Adams, a recent St. Louis Community College graduate, participated in this year’s “The Great Race,” a 10-day classic car rally along historic Route 66 from Springfield, Illinois, to Pasadena, California.
Adams earned an associate degree in automotive technology and competed as a member of the X-Cup Legacy Team. A Metro High School graduate, she previously received a $5,000 Ford Automotive Tech Scholarship and a $1,500 PepsiCo Foundation Scholars Program scholarship.
