Vitalis “Veto” Reid has been named a recipient of a 50 Over 50 Community Shaper Award by St. Charles Business magazine. Reid is a retired St. Charles postmaster and the U.S. Post Office branch at 7450 Natural Bridge Road is named for him. Reid, an active civic leader, has received many awards including the First Postmaster’s Leadership Award, which was presented at the 1992 National Association of Postmasters of the United States convention in Nashville.
