KAI 360 Construction Services has been named the inaugural PMCM Firm of the Year by the Construction Management Association of America North Texas Chapter.
The award was presented last week during the group’s annual awards and scholarship gala in Dallas.
KAI 360 Construction Services is part of KAI Enterprises, a St. Louis-founded firm that’s one of the nation’s largest Black-owned architecture, engineering and construction companies.
The North Texas chapter recognized the firm for its management work on two large Dallas-area public projects: a $260 million utility plant project at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and construction of the Henry W. Longfellow Career Exploration Academy for the Dallas Independent School District.
The airport project replaced part of the airport’s aging steam distribution system and was completed in 2025. The Longfellow academy project involved construction of a three-story replacement school serving about 650 students.
“We are honored to be named the first PMCM Firm of the Year by the CMAA North Texas Chapter,” said Herschel Acosta, president of KAI 360 Construction Services.
