At one of the most anticipated concert events of the summer two people suffered burns after pyrotechnics shot into the audience on Sunday night.

The concert goers were sitting in the front row of the concert, held at the Scottrade Center, as the pyro effects spilled into the crowd.

They were taken to an area hospital where their burn wounds were treated and they were released.

Both victims are expected to make a full recovery.
