“It’s just another outlet to create, to tell stories and make music at the same time,” Andre 3000 tells AOL Black Voices of his new animated series for the Cartoon Network, titled ‘Class of 3000.’
Created and produced by the OutKast frontman, the show will debut with a one-hour premiere at 7 p.m. Friday Nov. 3 on the all-animated basic cable channel.
Not at all as racy as the network’s wildly popular series ‘The Boondocks,’ ‘Class’ centers on an international music star named Sunny Bridges who gives up everything to teach a group of gifted musical prodigies in Atlanta. The show will include a new song every week and the hip-pop superstar and actor will also lend his voice to the lead character.
