Did Nelly look good presenting at the Grammys or what? He didn’t walk away with a Grammy this year, but as usual he was nominated. He was edged out by Kanye West in the Best Rap Album category. This is the first year Nelly didn’t cop a Grammy since he’s been in the music game, but like I said, he continued he’s nomination streak. And with his platinum superstar status it was only right that they tap him to present an award. Boyfriend is so charismatic and the camera just loves him. Nelly was tapped by Anheuser-Busch for a Bud ad with big country music star Tim McGraw, who teamed with Nelly for the hip-hop/country joint “Over and Over Again” on Nelly’s “Suit” CD. It should have been nominated in the Best Performance by a Group or Duo category and they should have performed it on the show. But hey, the commercial was hot. In the spot, Nelly and Tim run into one another near a runway before boarding individual private jets. Nelly accidentally boards Tim’s jet where some country music guys are vibing to country music, and Tim boards Nelly’s jet where Nelly’s bodyguard, Big B, and some other hip-hoppers are bobbing to hip-hop music. They switch to their specific jets. Of course both jets have bottles of Budweiser on them. That’s hot.
