A happy birthday wish is in order for St. Louis County Municipal Judge Renee Hardin-Tammons. That is, if you didn’t get down with girlfriend at her 42nd birthday party at the Fireman’s Hall in Berkeley last Saturday. Renee, her friends, family and colleagues partied hard all night. Having the party in Berkeley was somewhat of a reunion for Renee, who used to beat the gavel in the Berkeley courthouse. It was like a reunion party when Atty. Donnell Smith slid through because Renee was a judge in Berkeley (where Donnell is still a prosecutor) from 1999 until 2003. The late County Executive George “Buzz” Westfall appointed girlfriend to a St. Louis County Municipal Court judgeship in 2003. Go, girl. And happy birthday.
