Go check Breaking for Broken Lives: A hip-hop fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina survivors this Saturday, October 15 from 1-5 p.m. at Destiny Church, 1809 Des Peres Rd., 5 bone suggested minimum donation. Besides showcases by the region’s hottest underground crews, hip-hop dancing routines, funkstyle dancing (popping) showcases and martial artists, expect visual artists Cbabi Bayoc and Peat Wollaeger. DJs gonna be K-Nine, Trackstar, Kid Delicious, Dr. Binks and Sarah Cox. All proceeds from this benefit jam will be donated to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
