My boy Nimmy Hendrix (or Russell, if you ask his mama) of the Stars is trying to get his Beautiful People’s Club going whenever he’s actually in town to do it. That’s the name of his mixtape, but dude also wants it to be an actual club of likeminded hip-hop heads. He threw down at African Palace awhile back and has another joint scheduled for Thursday, September 8 at Plush. The plan is to do Beautiful People Club stuff there on Thursday nights every month for three months and then move to twice a month if it catches on. It’s a hot mixtape he’s pushing, and Nimmy usually creates a good scene, so I’ll give this one a chance.
