Every November in the Lou we get excited about two parties: Nelly and Steve Lacy’s birthday bashes. Nelly hasn’t gone public with his plan as of yet, but Steve, Nelly’s personal barber, may have some bad news. Since he’s turning 35 next year, he may just wait and throw a big to-do then and skip this year. But please believe he has something else cooking for November. He’s putting on the Gateway Hair Showcase featuring Fashion Forward St. Louis stylists and instructors from around the country and he’s giving out awards to local pioneers. Boyfriend is looking for fellow local stylists who should, but don’t, sharpen their skills with follow-up schooling.
