Congrats to newly weds Craig and Tracy Schnuck who jumped the broomstick this weekend. I joined the reception in the Ritz Carton Grand Ballroom. If you’re a schnuck and you like Kool and the Gang, you obviously don’t have someone cover Kool’s songs at your wedding reception, you have Kool himself bring the gang to perform live. And boy did they jam. They really made it a celebration. Kool and two other members were celebrating their birthdays, so after they performed we all headed up to Finale in Clayton to celebrate their b-days. We kicked it to about 1:30 since the gang had to be in Florida for a weeklong gig at Disney World. Right on to Charles Stone, Kool and the Gang’s longtime road manger, for the invite.
