Elson Williams received the Veterans Service Award at a ceremony at the Capitol in Jefferson City, hosted by Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder. Elson is a Vietnam veteran who volunteers his time working with Missouri Veterans’ History Project, a not-for-profit corporation organized to interview and record the stories of our veterans.
