University City High School formally dedicated Edward Crenshaw Gymnasium and Hasan Houston Court during a ceremony between the girls and boys varsity basketball gameslast Friday. U. City acting principal Dayle Burgdorf, Felicia Houston, the wife of Hasan Houston, Redditt Hudson (applauding) and Ed Crenshaw in wheel chair thanked the sold-out crowd during the dedication. Crenshaw coached the UCHS basketball team from 1974 to 1997 and is tenth on the Missouri high school coaches list for wins. Houston was a three-sport letterman from the UCHS Class of 1976 who was drafted into the NBA by the Houston Rockets but played professional football for the Chicago Bears.
