  1. Charter schools take money from Public Schools and can institute their own admittance policies, they don’t have to take every kid. But the money in most cases follows the student. This an escape route for parents that will not fight for their kids and see Charter schools as greenier grass and they don’t know how they work, because it varies from state to state.

    Let’s track how many parents come out. I hope a lot. But we also know that Charter schools can put mandates on parent involvement which traditional public schools cannot do. I’m just saying. And they won’t have access to all the resources Public schools have, unless it is written in policy.

It is very sad that charter schools are able to pull resources selectively from our public school even though the paying public has note given permission to send our hard earned tax dollars to them. Is it true that there isn’t the oversight of these schools as it is for the public schools? Do they even need to meet the state student course requirements?
