The Rev. Larry Rice and the New Life Evangelistic Center, longtime leaders on homelessness issues in St. Louis, organized a march on Friday from the St. Louis County government building to St. Mary’s Hospital. They were protesting the death of Anna Brown, 29, a homeless woman who was arrested at St. Mary’s on Sept. 21 when she wouldn’t leave the hospital after doctors in the emergency room found no health emergency, according to a statement
by St. Mary’s.
