At Confluence Academy Old North, third-grade students in Arionna Wilson’s class are busy writing letters to pen pals. The communication arts lesson helps students develop skills such as correct spelling, punctuation and writing in complete sentences. The focus of the lesson was to get the students to think about the negative impact unkind words and bullying can have on others.
