The Alzheimer’s Association, St. Louis Chapter, will host the “Getting Connected” family education program during the month of May. It includes a tour of the chapter office, including its award-winning library and resource center at the St. Louis Chapter Office, 9374 Olive Blvd.
On Friday, May 12, the organization will host a Volunteer Appreciation event to salute dedicated volunteers from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Richmond Heights Community Center, 8001 Dale Ave. National association president, Harry Johns, will join local volunteer Jack Challis to present the 2006 Community Service and Volunteer of the Year awards.
