Metro Theater Company will be honored for their its programs Thursday, May 11 at the FOCUS St. Louis 9th annual “What’s Right With The Region” Awards Celebration. Metro Theater Company fills a critical need for educators and schools. The company’s teaching artists conduct more than 450 workshops and residencies each year. These high-quality programs assist educators in making learning more effective and engaging for their students. Educator guides are provided for all school performances and students have an opportunity to meet the cast during post show discussions and classroom workshops. Metro’s ArtsINTERsection (AIS) and Young Voices are unique summer camps for young people ages 6-15 that offer students the opportunity to explore drama, music, dance and visual art with professional artists.
