Kenneth Robinson is serving as interim mayor of Dellwood following the death of Mayor Reggie Jones on Aug. 21.
Robinson, president of the Dellwood Board of Aldermen, assumed the mayor’s duties Aug. 24. Under the city’s charter and ordinances, the board president automatically becomes interim mayor when the office is vacant, allowing city operations and services to continue without interruption.
Robinson has represented Ward II on the Board of Aldermen since April 2016.
The Board of Aldermen is scheduled to meet Sept. 28 to select a permanent replacement for Jones.
