It is a shame that black-on-black racism still and always will exist in Black America. When will the tired race horse “light skin/dark skin” be put to rest once and for all?

What is black? Music? Clothes? Clarence Thomas, according to Bernie Hayes, has all the appropriate features of a black man. Yet his actions tell a different story.

I think any black man with the same qualifications, poise and hard work would get the same amount of media attention as Senator Obama. It was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who said, “Judge me not by the color of my skin, but the content of my character.”

When he died, his words and vision died with him. It is a shame his dream for us was just that. A dream.
