Healthcare Strategic Initiatives fired Daphne Jones for wearing a pin which said she loved being black? Fired, because another employee had complained that seeing the pin made him, or her, uncomfortable? They fired a perfectly good employee, without even a discussion? It would have served the company better to have sent that “uncomfortable” person for some psychiatric counseling. That person surely has some gnats in the noggin which are a detriment to the company.
