Why must we police the world? Because nobody else can and will. Although I do agree with Jesse Jackson that we need to continue making this country a productive and vibrant democracy, we also must protect our freedoms and lifestyle endangered from outside, especially since 9/11. Policing the world needs to be done more than ever before. Where would we be today had the U.S. not defended Europe by helping defeat Hitler?
