I want to thank you for the article and editorial on the Rosa Parks Initiative Report. I appreciate being mentioned, but it is really the collective strength of the Minority Inclusion Alliance, whose members include state Rep. Jamilah Nasheed, Dr. William Mason, Eddie Hasan, the Rev. Sharon Smith and the late Ether Bledoe, that has made the difference in our efforts to make this a more inclusive and progressive city.
What has also made the difference, frankly, is your newspaper. The St. Louis American has been bold and uncompromising in pressing and putting a spotlight on this important issue. For this, we – and the entire community – are truly indebted.
