Recently I stumbled across an issue of Black Scholar Magazine dedicated to women scholar/activists in which Jamala Rogers was extensively profiled. My commendations to the American for including her valuable analysis every week. When out of the city, I have been told by more than one person that they regularly follow her writing and respect her opinions, which suggests that her reach is not in the least parochial, a quality not always in evidence here (in fact, excruciatingly absent). I am very proud of her St. Louis affiliation.
