St. Louis County Library and Great Southern Bank will debut a new bookmobile on Wednesday.
The celebration will include a special appearance by the beloved children’s book characters Elephant and Piggie and a chance for students to explore the new bookmobile.
The event will be held on January 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Road Elementary in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, located at 2800 Parker Road, Florissant, MO 63033.
Students and faculty are excited to be the first to experience this innovative addition to the district. The event, co-sponsored by SLCL and Great Southern Bank, highlights a shared commitment to literacy and community engagement, aiming to bring books and learning resources directly to underserved areas.
