Prosper Women Entrepreneurs is launching Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Capital group, a new division of Prosper to provide investment resources to early-stage women-led businesses.
Headquartered in St. Louis, Prosper was created to address the entrepreneur gender gap by fostering, developing, and capitalizing women-led businesses. Prosper Capital will initially manage two programs dedicated to increasing the amount of early-stage capital being deployed to women-led businesses. The first, a non-profit program named Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Institute, will provide women entrepreneurs with mentorship resources. The second, an LLC named the Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Startup Accelerator, will connect women-led start-ups with investment resources.
