On Saturday, August 2, The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis will conduct its eighth large scale food distribution and essential supplies giveaway since the devastating tornado touched down in the region on May 16.

“This effort is about more than just giving—it’s about dignity, community, and meeting people where they are,” said Michael P. McMillan, President & CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis. “We are committed to ensuring that no family faces this recovery alone.”

The event will take place from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Urban League Regional Headquarters, located at 1408 N. Kingshighway Blvd.

With more than $300,000 in free food, toiletries, and essential resources, this event is designed to bring relief and hope to families who are still dealing with the storm’s impact.

The Urban League is seeking volunteers for tomorrow’s event. They will work alongside the Urban League team to swiftly and compassionately load food boxes, toiletries, and household essentials into the trunks of vehicles for hundreds of families in need.
