Algin Robinson, Jr. was born in St. Louis on July 13, 1949 to Algin Sr. and Bernice Robinson. He grew up in Kinloch along with six siblings. His parents and brother, Steven Robinson Sr., preceded him in death. He confesses a hope in Christ at an early age at Holy Angels Church in Kinloch.
Algin graduated from Kinloch Senior High School. He furthered his education and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University as well as a Master’s degree from Webster University. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and served as director of Bridgeway Counseling Services.
Algin enjoyed life to the fullest and was the life of every party! He lit up every room he entered. He cherished spending time with family and friends. He loved the life he lived and lived the life he loved.
Algin departed this life on February 4, 2009.
He leaves to cherish his memory one loving son, Sean Robinson (Alexis); one cherished and adored grandson, Cannon J. Robinson; four sisters, Gloria Bayless, Katherine Bazile (Louis), Janice Pope and Pamela Johnson (Daniel); one brother, David Robinson (Miko); one aunt, Louise Burnside; one uncle, Eddie Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
