Dave Minor, Jr. of St. Louis passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the age of 82. Dave was born in Macon, MS to Dave and Eddie Lee Minor. He was the youngest of seven children. All siblings preceded him in death. Dave was a 35-plus year steel worker at Scullin Steel and was also a member of Lively Stone Church.
Dave leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years, Lucille; six sons, Dave Jr. (Janet), Charles (Lonnie), Maurice (Regina), Keith (Bonnie, Darrell (Nicole), and David; six daughters, Carolyn (John), Erma, Joyce, Brenda, Mamie, and Delores (Dennis). One daughter, Gwendolyn, preceded him in death. He had 27 grandchildren, one of which preceded him in death; 36 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
