Geraldine Scott, mother of St. Louis American contributor Maurice Scott, passed late Sunday night, December 16, 2007, in Fairview Heights, Ill. She was 69. She is survived by Maurice and his siblings, Steven Reed and Deborah Reed, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
