Lester Allen Deanes (age 71) transitioned from this world on April 30th, 2024. He is survived by 7 children, 6 siblings, a host of cousins, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and an expansive network of loved ones. The communities that shaped Lester’s life include the Pruitt-Igoe housing projects, his family’s church home of Union Memorial United Methodist Church, and DeAndreis High School to name a few. Later in life, he coached girls’ basketball for Mathew’s Dickey 89 Hoops in the early 2000s. Lester has touched many lives through his career as an independent contractor for countless projects across the Saint Louis region.
