January 14, 1921 – December 18, 2005

Emanuel Jackson, born in 1921 in Jackson, Mississippi, was an inspiration to everyone he encountered. He mentored countless people, empowering them to live their best life.

His brothers TJ, Isaiah, Steve and Herman preceded him in death.

He was the father of two children, Clara Mae Hayes (Martini), Emanuel Hunter, Jr. (Seanie). He had eight grandchildren, Felicia, Sharon, Bitus, Emanuel, Kenny, Neenee, Carlos and Kevin and 20 great-grandchildren.

Not only did he serve his community family and friends, but he served his country by serving three years in the Army in World War I.

He owned his own waste management business for 20 years.

He will be remembered as a well-loved man, helping people to better their lives, setting a good example and leaving a legacy that will never be forgotten.
