To the world she was “Pat,” but she was born January 5, 1948 as Patricia Lorraine Jeffries. She was the first of two children born to Margaret Alexander and Taylor Jeffries, Sr. Pat grew up on Romaine on the west side of St. Louis. Pat’s tenacity and zest for life impacted everyone she met. She exemplified the essence of “giving.”
On February 12, 2009, the Lord saw fit to take his beloved Patricia home. Preceding her in death were Taylor H. Jeffries Sr., Taylor (T.J.) H. Jeffries, Jr. and stepfather Martin Cole.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories and celebrate her life; one daughter, Jewel (Stanford); four grandchildren; mother, Margaret Cole; two brothers, Martin and Phil (Lisa) Cole; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a community of friends and those whose lives she touched. Her sweetness and loving smile will be missed by all.
