Paul A. Jones, son of Rev. Sammie Jones, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007. His wake will be held March 8 at Austin Layne Mortuary, 7239 W. Florrisant Ave, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and his funeral will be held March 9 at 10 a.m. at his father’s church, Mt. Zion Mission Baptist Church, 1444 S. Compton Ave.
Jones was born to Rev. Sammie Jones and Ella Adams on Jan. 5, 1972. He was active at the Mount Zion Baptist Church where he served as Sexton for the past two years.
Jones is survived by his daughter, Taylor; father, Rev. Sammie E. Jones (Sandra); step-father, Terry Westbrook; grandmothers, Josephine Moore, Bessie Jones and Nancy Westbrook; brothers Terry Jr. (Jamie), Terrence, Terill, Shaun, Dwight and Michael; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
