Want some of Gov. Matt Blunt’s staffing dollars? Then ignore the most needy and kick the underprivileged and disadvantaged to the curb. That’s the message sent this week from Jefferson City when Blunt hired Jodi Stefanick as his senior health care policy advisor.
Who the heck is Jodi Stefanick? She is a state representative from St. Louis County who currently serves as the legislative chairwoman of the Medicaid Reform Commission. She has been a leader in the effort to slash needy Missouri residents from the state’s Medicaid rolls.
In her new position working for the boy governor, Stefanick’s own health care will, of course, be paid by tax-paying suckers like you and me.
