John Farrell from Comptroller Darlene Green’s office said the EYE was wrong in stating her opposition to BB 139, sponsored by Alderman Boyd: “There was no dispute regarding the fiscal year 2006 budget and there is no ‘ongoing feud’ between the Comptroller’s Office and the Circuit Attorney’s Office.”
