At the fundraiser at the Kappa House last week, the fact that Mfume was there to shake money out of the pockets of affluent black Democrats was practically kept secret. You don’t have to be Tom DeLay or Jack Abramoff, but if you’re going to organize a fundraiser, then you got to get serious about raising some funds.
