St. Louis plans to spend $4 million repairing 250 affordable rental units in North St. Louis damaged by the May 2025 tornado.
The money comes from the city’s Rams settlement funds. The Affordable Housing Commission approved grants for five projects, but final approval is still required.
The units must remain affordable for six years after repairs. Most will serve households earning no more than 60% of the area median income.
