On behalf of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, I wish to convey our thoughts and prayers to the two officers who were shot outside the Ferguson Police Department and their families. We also wish to convey our condolences to the family of the six-year old boy who was tragically killed. The senseless gun violence in our community must cease in order for us to move forward and heal as a region.
