And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

God has such a great and awesome plan for our lives, but sometimes we are so bound by our old way of thinking that we can’t imagine bigger things for ourselves and others around us. We set limitations by seeing ourselves as grasshoppers and not as conquers.

The Bible tells us that we are well able to take and possess the land that God has given us, but it’s going to take persistent faith and courage. Persistent faith comes from the word of God because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The courage that’s needed starts with you aligning your mind with God’s perception and reality.

The problem that we face is we focus on the obstacles and the impossibilities instead of zoning in on the promises of God.  We are children of the Most High God, and if we obey Him and do the things that He tells us to do, then there is no good thing that He will withheld from us. You must see yourself as a winner and never a loser no matter how many times you’ve falling or failed at something.

The Bible also teaches us that a just man falls down seven times, but he always get back up again. You are not your past failures or the same person that you were before you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior; you are a new creation. You are much more powerful and have so much more potential than you think you do.

You are a child of God and the Holy Spirit lives in you. He guides you and teaches you all things and with this truth, you are full of wisdom and might. You are blessed beyond measure with all earthly and heavenly blessings, but you must realize this for yourself by changing your mind with God’s word.

The power to change your life is in your hands. If you are not happy with where you are in life, find scriptures in the Bible on areas that you know you are living beneath God’s best for you and meditate on them day and night until they become a part of you and you believe every word is true. You must be determined, committed and bold in your pursuit of a better you.

Once you begin and continue to renew your mind with the word of God, you will not only see how creative and powerful you are, but you will see how powerless sin is over you. You have the power to look any temptation in the face and tell it with all boldness that you no longer serve its false inspirations and failing gratifications, but you serve a God that never fails.
