“For the Word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Heb. 4:12 (KJV)
There is so much defeat and failure that exist in the earth today. So many people are struggling and do not know how to get off the failure treadmill. When failure persists in the lives of individuals, many will give up and throw in the towel and take the position that God has forsaken them.
The world must come to know that God does not change. He promised that He would never leave or forsake us. When there is a clear understanding of God, our attitudes toward Him will never become negative.
The question is: If this is true why are so many of God’s people struggling? “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6a).
God says we are lacking in knowledge and understanding of his word. We are looking for success in all the wrong places.
The word of God when it is understood and properly applied to every circumstance in life will produce a harvest for those who have the faith to trust and believe that God’s word has power.
The Word of God, in order to produce the results that are desired, must be applied just like you would an ointment to a sore or a wound. It is filled with the life of God. Supernatural power is released when the word is applied over a negative situation.
When you declare or speak the word over your circumstance it will begin to go to work on your behalf.
When it is spoken, it cannot be seen with the physical eye. But, you must know without a doubt that it is working. This is where faith is needed. The spirit of God is the carrier of the word. When you pray or speak the desires of your heart out into the universe, those words do not die
Many times we lose the blessing that has been set aside for us because of doubt and impatience. Instance results may not occur. There must be a willingness to wait on God because you know that the answer is on the way. Doubt comes from unbelief and unbelief comes because of a lack of knowledge and understanding of the word and how to apply it to your life.
When the word is applied, it is spoken directly to the need that exists in your life. You have the authority and power given to you by God to stop failure, sickness and poverty and also to release that which is good into your life. (Matt. 16:19) This process must be followed for every need that exists in your life. Praying the word over every need and circumstance puts God’s Spirit in control over your life.
It is time to stop struggling. The year is not over. There is still time for you to experience some victory and success in your life before the end of 2010.
