Congressman Wm. Lacy Clay (D) Missouri and Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D) Missouri are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the ambush shooting of two police officers outside of the Ferguson Police Department last night.
“I completely condemn the cowardly ambush of the brave officers who were wounded last night in Ferguson.” said Congressman Clay. “I ask everyone to join me in prayers for their swift recovery and for healing in our community. The path of violence does not lead to justice.”
“What happened in Ferguson last night was a terrible tragedy, and we cannot stand idly by as others transgress,” stated Congressman Cleaver. “We encourage anyone who has information to come forward.”
The St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers is offering a Reward of Up To $10,000.00 for information leading to the Arrest of the Subject(s) responsible for the Assault 1st on two Law Enforcement Officers from Wednesday night in Ferguson.
Both a St. Louis County officer and a Webster Groves officer were stuck by gunfire while on duty in Ferguson.
This Reward is offered to the first person that contacts CrimeStoppers with the information that leads police to arrest the subjects responsible for this Assault.
