WHY: This event was organized jointly to highlight African-American corporate
managers and businesses, and to enhance awareness of the opportunities
available for African Americans in business. We feel that acknowledging
and bringing to the public’s attention successful African-American businesses and individuals sends a strong signal that there is growing acceptance in St. Louis of the value of diversity.
