Held in the Spring, this annual event honors the area’s leading African-American health care providers. These individuals are truly making a difference in the lives of our readers every day.
From physicians, to nurses, social workers, hospital administrators, and the like, these are extraordinary people performing outstanding services for our community, and they aren’t usually recognized or appreciated for their tremendous efforts.
Extensive editorial coverage will be done in the St. Louis American newspaper in the weeks leading up to the luncheon, in a special section about the awardees, as well as post-event photo coverage.
There will also be coverage online at stlamerican.com, including video footage, to highlight the awardees’ efforts, with an important thrust to encourage our youth to enter the health care field.
