The St. Louis American Foundation and Wells Fargo Advisors are pleased to present the 5th Annual Salute to Young Leaders next Thursday (Feb. 19) at The Four Seasons.
For 2015 we are offering a sneak peek into the 20 esteemed honorees – all under 40 – who are using their time, talent and resources to make St. Louis a better place to live.
“The initiative I am most proud to have worked on is Project Alpha, which educates young men about safe sex practices and responsible manhood,” said Abdul-Kaba Abdullah, city manager for Berkeley, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity incorporated member and St. Louis American 2015 Young Leader honoree. “This area in mentorship is critical to providing our young men with the direction to make healthy choices.”
Listen to Abdullah share more about himself as part of the special series that will feature each of this year’s young leaders each weekday morning at 8:25 a.m. on KMOX 1120 AM.
