Former Principia basketball star Quentin Coleman is already turning some heads with his play during preseason games with the University of Illinois. The 6-foot-4 Coleman had 14 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in a victory at Cincinnati in the preseason opener. Last Friday, Coleman had 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block against Baylor. Coleman was the St. Louis American Player of the Year in 2026 after leading the Panthers to the Class 3 state championship.
