Principia girls’ basketball standout Dasia Scott has given a commitment to Georgia Tech.
The 6’2″ senior forward announced her commitment on Sunday after taking her official visit to Atlanta this weekend. Scott was the St. Louis American Player of the Year after leading the Panthers to the Class 3 state championship last season.
As a junior, Scott averaged 20.9 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 51 percent from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range. She also blocked 46 shots while leading the Panthers to a 30-2 record.
Scott has been a dominant force for the Panthers since entering the program as a freshman. She enters her senior year with 1,995 points and 1,046 rebounds. In those three seasons, Scott has led Principia to a 79-16 record, securing a state championship and two state runner-up finishes.
