Game-changing book
If you are looking for a gift for someone during the holiday season, may I suggest an excellent book that has been recently been released by former area basketball standout Angela Lewis.
The book is entitled, The Game Changing Assist: Six Simple Ways to Choose Success. Angela was a former standout prep player at Lafayette High who went to to enjoy a stellar collegiate career at Saint Louis University. After her playing career, she joined the coaching ranks, where she has been an assistant coach at schools such as Southeast Missouri State and Marquette.
Today, Angela spends much of her time working with young people on their basketball skills and doing motivational speaking around the St. Louis area and the United States.
In her book, Angela has taken all of her experiences as a coach and player and applied them to everyday life. The lessons that she has learned and have made her successful today are ones that she is passing along to her readers through this wonderfully-written 132-page book.
I’ve known Angela since she was a little girl running behind her twin brothers, Ronald and Rodney, who were also standout players at Lafayette. She grown into a beautiful and talented young lady who has a passion to help young people develop into the best that they can be. She started her own organization, Major Game LLC, to further her mission to mentor young people through basketball and life skills development.
You can order your copy of The Game Changing Assist on line at www.angelalewis.com.
