Aaron Brooks (New Orleans): Completed 19 of 34 passes for 189 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, scored one rushing touchdown, in the Saints’ 24-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, who were led by Brooks’ cousin Michael Vick.
Quincy Carter (New York Jets): Completed eight of 12 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown in the Jets’ 13-3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Carter left the game in the first quarter with a head injury, but returned in the third quarter.
Daunte Culpepper (Minnesota): Completed 19 of 27 passes for 235 yards with one touchdown and one interception, rushed for one touchdown, in the Vikings’ 27-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Shaun King (Arizona): Completed 14 of 26 passes for 118 yards and one interception in the Cardinals’ 13-3 loss to the New York Jets.
Byron Leftwich (Jacksonville): Completed 19 of 34 passes for235 yards and one touchdown in the Jaguars’ 27-16 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Leftwich returned to the starting lineup after missing the last two games with a knee injury.
Donovan McNabb (Philadelphia): Completed 18 of 27 passes for 244 yards and one touchdown, rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown, in the Eagles’ 27-6 victory over the New York Giants. The Eagles, who are currently 10-1, clinched the NFC Eastern Division title.
Steve McNair (Tennessee): Completed 25 of 34 passes for 227 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, rushed for 24 yards, in the Titans’ 31-21 loss to the Houston Texans.

Brad Smith Watch: The University of Missouri junior completed 13 of 24 passes for 150 yards and one interception, rushed for 101 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown, for a total of 251 yards of offense in the Tigers’ 17-14 victory at Iowa State.

High School Game Ball: Jairus Byrd (Clayton) – The 6’0″ 205-pound senior turned in a sparkling performance on Friday to lead the Greyhounds past Webb City 27-26 in the Missouri Class 4 state championship game. Byrd rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown, completed six of nine passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Byrd also had a great defensive performance with an interception and a forced fumble in the fourth quarter.
