Now that Mike Claiborne has moved on from the local bigot, longtime broadcaster Bob Ramsey has taken the challenge of trying to make sense out of the senseless. Ramsey has done everything under the sun here in St. Louis, from making the Billikens sound like they had a chance when they didn’t to making Mike Shannon laugh as a Cardinals broadcaster.
His new mission, though, is impossible. He has been too good to too many over the years to be paired with an individual who means no person of color any good. The one-time voice of Grambling State football deserves better. Bob Ramsey, watch your back.
